Girard Art Walk 2026

Each year, the Girard Art Walk brings new artists and visitors from across northwestern Pa. As I returned to my home town for the event, I was reminded of the small town charms and nostalgia of growing up in the 70's and 80's in such a place. My work has been gravitating towards the theme of nostalgia as I find myself revisiting these cherished memories.

This year, I was paired with the Hagan History Center at the historic Yellow House. A beautiful, large, late 1800's property rich is history, was a beautiful setting for showing my oil portraits and animal paintings.

The local news covered the upcoming Art Walk, and I had a couple shout-outs! My dad happened to see me on the news unexpectedly as he was sitting at the barber shop. "That's my daughter!" he exclaimed, with pride.
